Countrywide's Pressures Mount

Three States File Legal Action

As Angelo Mozilo, top executive and founder of Countrywide Home Loans, steps down this week, three states have filed suit against Countrywide.

California, Illinois, and Washington filed suit on the same day shareholders voted to approve the sale to Bank of America.
