Cook County Foreclosures smash 2007 record?

Numbers likely exceed 2007

After a record year in 2007, it appears the number of foreclosures will top 2007 by 35%.

Approximately 7361 foreclosure cases were filed in Cook County during January and February 2008, an increase of 58% from the same period in 2007. Officials in Cook County predict 30,000-36,000 foreclosure filings in 2008.

This is one of the best buyer markets we have experienced in the last 15 years.
